By using Lapsely you agree to what is below.
It reads the text on a photo you take, finds dates in it, and offers to remind you about one of them. You check and confirm every date before anything is saved.
Lapsely cannot promise that it will find a date, that the date it finds is the right one, or that it has read it correctly. A photograph of a piece of paper is not a certainty and the app never claims otherwise. Always check the date against the document before relying on it.
Lapsely is a reminder tool. It is not legal, financial, insurance or medical advice, and it does not know the terms of any policy, warranty or return scheme. Deadlines, cover and rights are between you and whoever issued the document.
Reminders are ordinary iPhone notifications. If notifications are switched off for Lapsely, if the iPhone is off, or if iOS chooses to hold a notification, one may not arrive. Your iPhone also holds only a limited number of waiting reminders, so Lapsely books at most 58 at a time, soonest first, and the rest are not booked — Settings always shows how many are booked. Lapsely cannot promise that a reminder will reach you, and missing a deadline remains your responsibility.
Lapsely is free to use within the limits shown in the app. Pro is a subscription that lifts the scan and saved-date limits and lets you stack up to four reminders on one date. It renews by itself until you cancel, and it is cancelled in your Apple Account settings, not here. There is no free trial.
Everything is stored on your iPhone. Keeping your iPhone backed up is up to you.
These terms may change with a future version of the app. The version in the app you are using is the one that applies to it.
